9RnK7 In Mourning adds to their already stacked discography (seriously every album is phenomenal). The Bleeding Veil showcases why I love this band, they know how to write extreme prog with actual emotion. I'm very fond of the clean singing and big emotive passages. Only time will tell if this will dethrone Garden of Storms as my favorite of their releases but as it stands this is a very enjoyable album from top to bottom. Favorite track: Thornwalker.

H.L. Filled with beautiful melancholy, melodic but with a solid death metal punch, progressive and skillful with a lot of memorable touching and also catchy moments that is what "The Bleeding Veil" is about. The album caught me with the first listening but it is far away from becoming boring too soon. With each repeat I discover new atmospheric passages and I must say that's simply the band's best album so far. With strong albums like this in the player I even forget to miss the old Opeth. Favorite track: At the behest of night.

RJ In Mourning has done no wrong. In Mourning can do no wrong. These guys are absurdly consistent; they have a formula and stick to it… and there’s nothing wrong with that. Another top notch progress death metal performance. 8/10 Favorite track: Lights on the mire.

locust149 I'm new to In Mourning but this one became my album of the year. I'll be checking out their previous albums now. Great stuff In Mourning!! Favorite track: Sovereign.
